Josh Brant

Attorney

Josh is from San Diego, California where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from San Diego State University. While attending SDSU he served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Orlando, Florida. After graduating, he moved to Lehi, Utah where he worked as a biochemist in a laboratory for several years. While there, he developed an interest in the law and politics and decided to attend the University of Utah where he received his second bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

Josh received his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law. During his time in law school, Josh clerked for the late Honorable Judge James Triplett, performing legal research and writing for criminal and civil matters. Later, he worked as a limited licensed city prosecutor for the city of Spokane where he was in court daily, covering the criminal first appearance dockets, civil infraction dockets, and prosecuted red light and school zone photo infractions.

Josh is divorced with three children. It was this event in his life that led him to practice family law where he is dedicated to fighting for his clients’ rights. He personally understands the difficulty that every member of a family goes through in a divorce. Because of this, he knows exactly what his clients are feeling and can help them navigate the process of a divorce.

Josh spends his spare time attending his children’s basketball, volleyball, and baseball games. He is passionate about baseball and played in the San Diego Adult Baseball League for several years before his twins were born. He also golfs when he can and is a bit of a cinephile.
