A.J. Torres

Lead Attorney

Shortly after graduating from high school, A.J. enlisted in the US Army and attended basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia. During his military career he was stationed in Georgia as well as Germany and served combat deployments. A.J. earned his bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University in 2015, majoring in English and Legal Studies. He attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and graduated in 2018.

During law school, A.J. clerked for the City Attorney’s office in Henderson, Nevada. A.J. has worked at various law firms where he gained the practical skill needed to be an effective legal advocate. Upon graduation, A.J. continued to work in private practice until he relocated to Utah. After moving to Utah, A.J. took on a role with the Utah State Bar managing both the NLTP (New Lawyer Training Program) and the LPP (Licensed Paralegal Practitioner Program). Most recently, A.J. worked as an Estate Tax Attorney for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) where his work focused exclusively on gift and estate tax.

A.J. and his wife, Kristy, have been married for 18 years and are the proud parents of three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, watching sports, and reading. His family is very involved with youth sports, primarily baseball and basketball, as he has two children who attend and play sports at Springville High School.
